Aspect Contracts, along with the rest of the world are saddened to hear about the passing of our Queen Elizabeth ll, the UK's longest-serving monarch, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.

The long reign of Queen Elizabeth II was marked by her strong sense of duty and her determination to dedicate her life to her throne and to her people.

She became for many the one constant point in a rapidly changing world as British influence declined, society changed beyond recognition and the role of the monarchy itself came into question.

Like many, we will be reflecting on her legacy and preparing to support her son King Charles III in continuing to honour her vision for our future

Prime Minister Liz Truss remarked in her tribute to Her Majesty, “The Queen was the rock upon which modern Britain was built” and we couldn’t agree more with that sentiment.

Today is a moment of national grief and our hearts go to The Royal Family who have now entered a period of mourning. In the coming days, much of national life will be put on hold.

There will be church bells tolling and gun salutes as local and national organisations and charities organise ways to pay their respects, with commemorative events and books of condolence.
